Elenie Chung (钟凯琹) is a filmmaker, born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. She grew up with a pet turtle, outside Trinidad’s capital, with a bedroom view of the Caribbean Sea squeezed between two terraced houses. Her films use female relationships as a method of illustrating cultural disconnection and ancestral amnesia and have screened in international festivals and art exhibitions.
She is currently based in Los Angeles, CA. Her current bedroom view is of a driveway.
